Property Accessibility

McEnaney’s Lincoln Log Colony was built in 1948 and only operates during the summer season. It is our goal to provide you with the information needed to determine whether our rooms and facilities meet your accessibility needs. In making your determination, please keep in mind that our hotel is not fully accessible to differently-abled persons, or is in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Reservations & Reservation Platform

As part of our reservation process, we are able to:

  1. Modify our policies, practices, or procedures to ensure that individuals with disabilities can make reservations for accessible guest rooms during the same hours and in the same manner as individuals who do not need accessible rooms
  2. Allow guests to contact us directly via email or phone if they require assistance with booking their reservation

Our resort DOES offer the following features:

Wheelchair Accommodations:

  • Motorized wheelchairs are permitted
  • Sufficient parking spots are available
  • Room for van with side ramp

Blind or Low Vision Accommodations:

  • Service animals are welcome. They may relieve themselves on the outside lawn
  • Staff members are able to assist the visitor in getting to know the property and location

Hearing Accommodations:

  • Visual or flashing alarms (in case of fire)

Adjoining Bathroom:

  • Shower/tub equipped with non-slip surface

Motel Rooms: #2,3,4,5,6,7,8

  • Room Type: Motel unit with kitchen Size & Number of Beds: 2 full xl, 1 full futon couch which turns into bed
  • Guest Room Features: Full kitchen and dining area, futon couch, 2 beds, TV on dresser and nightstands
  • Bathroom Features: Walk in shower with toilet, sink area separate and before the shower.
  • Communications Features: none
  • Are there any areas of the room that lack full ADA standards? None are ADA compliant. Built 1950. Last major building change was 1980.

Cabin 1,2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10,11,12,13,14

  • Room Type: cabin
  • Size & Number of Beds: 1 full xl bed, 2 twins, full futon
  • Guest Room Features: Full living area, TV on wall, dressers in bedrooms built in, dining table in full kitchen that is next to living area.
  • Bathroom Features: Walk in shower, sink and toilet in small room. No ADA access
  • Communications Features: none except smoke and CO detectors as required by law.
  • Are there any areas of the room that lack full ADA standards?  All areas lack ADA standards

Cabins – 3 bedrooms

  • Room Type: cabins with 3 times Size & Number of Beds: 2 full xl, 2 twins, one full futon or pull out couch for living area that runs into full
  • Guest Room Features: kitchen.
  • Bathroom Features: Small room with walk in shower, toilet and sink.
  • Communications Features: none
  • Are there any areas of the room that lack full ADA standards? All lack ADA standards

Apartments 17, 18, 19

  • Room Type: Two bedroom apartment
  • Size & Number of Beds: 1 full xl and one twin, 1 full futon
  • Guest Room Features: Full kitchen dining table, futon couch and chairs in attached living room
  • Bathroom Features:walk-in shower with sink and toilet in the same area.
  • Communications Features: none
  • Are there any areas of the room that lack full ADA standards? There are no areas that are ADA compliant

Cabin #16

  • Room Type: Full house
  • Size & Number of Beds: which converts to bed for 2
  • 1 queen bedroom, one two twin bedroom and full size futon
  • Guest Room Features: none
  • Bathroom Features: none
  • Communications Features: none
  • Are there any areas of the room that lack full ADA standards?  The whole unit lacks ADA standards – built 1950, only accessible by stairs

Our resort DOES NOT offer the following features:

Wheelchair Accommodations:

  • Motel Rooms 2-8 are not wheelchair accessible
  • Power-assisted doors, wheelchairs or portable stools
  • Public restrooms are not wheelchair accessible
  • Ramp access self operating lifts or sloped entryways

Blind or Low Vision Accommodations:

  • Braille signage throughout property
  • Auxiliary aids (such as readers)

Hearing Accommodations:

  • Assistive listening devices or have someone on staff who knows sign language
  • Induction loop at the front desk
  • Induction loop in the conference rooms
  • Assistive listening devices for meetings

Mobility:

  • Accessible route from the accessible public entrance to the accessible guest rooms
  • An accessible route from the hotel’s accessible public entrance to the pool
  • Accessible transportation to/from hotel

Environment:

  • Not a fragrance free environment
  • Smoking allowed outside units
