Lincoln Log Colony has been a family-owned Lake George resort since 1948, growing from a handful of log cabins into a full resort while keeping the same commitment to comfort, affordability, and genuine hospitality that made it a favorite in the first place.
Lincoln Log Colony was born during the golden age of the American road trip, when families would pack up the car and stay a week or longer at their favorite destination. We started with just a few log cabins and quickly became a beloved spot for vacationers drawn to rustic Adirondack charm just minutes from the lake.
Over the decades, we’ve grown to include more cabins, cottages, and apartments, but the things that matter most haven’t changed. We’re still family owned and operated, still focused on comfort and affordability, and still welcoming the same families back year after year. Today, we see third and fourth generation guests returning to introduce their own children and grandchildren to the place where they grew up vacationing. That never gets old.

What Makes Lincoln Log Colony Feel Like More Than Just a Resort?
Lincoln Log Colony has a genuine sense of community: guests gather by the pool, share evenings around the fire pits, and often return with extended family or friend groups to rent multiple cabins together. Some groups rent two, three, or even four cabins at once, turning their Lake George trip into a full family reunion or a multi-family getaway. Others come as a couple or a small family and find themselves making new friends by the pool or around a fire pit.
